Hey Guys, What's up! Your friend back again with another interesting blog. In today's blog no tutorials, no commands only facts and truth.
Are you ready? <In a loud, zestful Army tone>
Today we are going to talk about something that confuses people a lot and also motivates them the same way [Ironically].
We are here to talk about some of the misunderstanding people carry with themselves whenever they think about an Ethical Hacker a.k.a [A CyberSecurity Specialist] or their journey.
People always consider * hackers * as someone who always steals something, who always does bad and whose existence is harmful for the society. The media, the growing digital world has made a negative image of them.
Let me give you an example to demonstrate you up the full scenario:-
Suppose you are chatting up with your friends with sipping up tea/coffee(based on your preference). Now suddenly one amongst them starts conversation like he works in the IT World, and has a lot of knowledge regarding that field. He says that [I use to write code day and night. The day passes like, he doesn't gets to know. This App Development, Web Development are the reasons for his hectic schedule]. Now suddenly, the other person speaks up that what is it's use if they get hacked very easily. Now this is the warm point from where the conversation catches up the fire. The first person in defense of himself, starts telling them all about the difficulties and struggle it takes to build a successful code[App/Website : consider it in your way :)]. In return the person counters back saying these are all excuses, actually you guys can't escape and just to play yourself on the safer side you just say like that.
And this talk continues over and over...
Now as you can see up clearly here, although being the dominating party:- it could be easily justified that Hackers are the one dominating, surpassing in the wrong way.
Now suppose you are the ethical Hacker. Your life also would not be very easy and you have heard a lot of times from people things like -
* Please Hack that account for me.
* I can only believe you are a hacker, if you hack her account.[I really don't know who asks them to believe that the person really is.]
These sort of silly talks not only demotivates the person, but also forces him to go the wrong way and to really do what people want.
And in the way to show people their skills, people tend to take such steps which pushes them on the wrong path.
We need to stop all this. First of all we need to make it clear, no profession is small or big. Each one of them have equal importance. And also job like Ethical Hacking are not as easy as to be thought of that in a glimpse everything willl be * Hacked *. It requires well planned actions, need skills, time and a lot of firm determination.
So since we have talked a lot, let's pause a bit and think for a while, all the challenges in the life of a CyberSecurity Expert and let's meet in another blog.
